PETER NUCULAJ

With over 15 years of experience in the hair industry, I’ve been fortunate to turn my passion into a lifelong career. My journey started at Michigan College of Beauty in Troy, but my love for learning and pushing creative boundaries has taken me all over the world. In 2014, I was honored to win the TIGI Inspirational Youth Award, which led me to an incredible 10-day training experience in London. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of showcasing my work in major cities like Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, Orlando, and Berlin. Whether it’s working backstage at fashion shows or collaborating with brides to bring their vision to life, I love every opportunity to create and connect through hair.

While my expertise lies in balayage and blondes, my greatest joy comes from the people I meet and the stories they share in my chair. Beyond the salon, my most cherished role is being a father to my three amazing daughters. Family means everything to me, and I’m lucky to share this journey with my wife, Jacky, who is not only my biggest supporter but also my partner in running Peter Mark Salon. Whether behind the chair or at home with my girls, I bring the same level of dedication, passion, and creativity to everything I do.

Hi, I’m Jacky Nuculaj, co-owner of Peter Marks Salon. My love for the salon world began when I was a little girl, tagging along with my aunt to the salon where she worked. That passion grew into a 20-year career in hair cutting and coloring, allowing me to create styles that truly reflect my clients’ personalities. Whether you’re looking for a bold transformation or a naturally effortless look, I’m here to bring your vision to life. My husband and I created Peter Marks Salon as a space for people to feel welcome, relaxed, and confident, and I couldn’t be happier to share it with you. When I’m not behind the chair, I’m a proud mom to my three beautiful girls, who inspire me every day.

I found my passion as a hairstylist in 2018 and truly have been so blessed ever since. My favorite thing to do, is everything! From connecting with my clients and creating a sense of community, to meticulously curating a custom color and haircut, I take pride in ensuring I give every client my all. One of the many things I love about my career is that I get to do so many different types of hair, with so many different types of people. I get to learn so much with every client. As a fellow dark haired girly I have a special love for dimensional brunettes, but truly every service for me is a joy. I regularly continue my education to stay up on all the new trends, but to also hone my craft to ensure I deliver a perfectly curated look every time.
